Awards Evening

Anthony: I really enjoyed the awards evening. I received the Dennis Edwards Award due to my determination, persistence and perseverance. It was surely a night to remember and cherish. I enjoyed celebrating the work which I had done and felt proud to achieve such a prestigious award.
Theo: When I went to Awards evening, it felt incredible to be a member of such a special and joyous occasion. The award I received was for Geography for my determination and attitude towards my learning. No matter how much of a challenge I had, I would always find a way of surpassing that obstacle.
The children who achieved the awards and their parents were introduced to two renowned poets, Dreadlock Alien (Richard Grant) and Kurly (Alan McGeachie). They were the special guests to the awards evening and both presented their amazing talents of poetry and music. The guests were presented with a series of poems introducing both staff and the sixth form. Creating a welcoming environment. It was surely a night to remember.
